Sora Rewards — Turning a necessary rebrand into a working acquisition channel

After the company changed its name and brand, I independently built a new commercial website from scratch — my first live launch using AI-assisted development.

Organic inbound lead generation

Context

SORA changed its company name and brand, which meant the previous website would become outdated and no longer represent the company accurately. A new site was necessary, but the initiative did not yet have a defined execution plan.

Taking ownership

I recognized that the company needed more than a visual replacement for its previous website. It needed a clear commercial destination that could explain SORA’s products, communicate their value to enterprise buyers and create a direct path from interest to a qualified lead.

I took ownership of the initiative and independently created the new website from the ground up. This became the first live product I built using AI-assisted development.

The challenge

SORA’s offering included multiple services and platforms, including its eGift API, SENDSora and Rewards Ninja. The commercial story existed across internal knowledge, presentations and conversations, but it needed to become one coherent public experience that potential clients could understand without assistance.

What I owned

  • Defined the purpose and structure of the website
  • Organized SORA’s products into a coherent commercial narrative
  • Wrote and structured the website content
  • Designed the interface and complete experience
  • Built and launched the website independently using AI-assisted development
  • Created the contact and lead-capture workflow
  • Connected new lead submissions to Slack notifications
  • Turned the website into an active part of the company’s acquisition process
  • Continued expanding the website as SORA’s products evolved

Lead-capture workflow

The website includes a contact form that stores the submitted lead information and automatically sends a notification to the SORA team in Slack. This makes potential client enquiries immediately visible and ready for follow-up instead of leaving them isolated in an inbox.

How a lead moves through the system

  1. Website visitor
  2. Contact form
  3. Lead information stored
  4. Slack notification
  5. Team follow-up

Outcome

The website began generating inbound leads without paid acquisition or a large promotional launch. One of those leads grew into one of SORA’s most important clients in Korea.

The website was therefore not simply a branding deliverable. It became a functional commercial system connecting product communication, lead capture and internal follow-up.

Why this project mattered

This project changed how I thought about building. I had previously worked extensively across product strategy, operations and execution, but this was the first time I used AI-assisted development to independently turn an idea into a live product that generated a real business outcome.

It showed me that I could move beyond defining and managing solutions to building and launching them myself. Since then, I have continued creating websites, applications and products that solve real needs.
